Kaizer Chiefs graduate Samkelo Zwane is one of the players who are tipped to hit greater heights at the club.
The versatile attacker has made the squad in all three match days for the Soweto giants in the Premier Soccer League and started against Marumo Gallants. Last season, he struggled for game time and ended up playing just eight matches across all competitions.
However, he is one of the players who have impressed coach Nasredine Nabi which might see him getting involved regularly. To achieve his targets, the 22-year-old has been advised to keep his head down.
Zwane advised to be careful of distraction
The attacker's father Eugene Zwane has now revealed his biggest fear for his son which might come from the people he values.

“The most unfortunate thing about sports people is they interact with a lot of people, and family might not be there. That’s my biggest fear, the distractions that are likely to take place,” the Orlando Pirates legend told Far Post.
“That’s why I try to tell him, ‘Be careful of distractions, even if it’s friends’. So, keep the circle very small and rely heavily on the members of the family. Those are people given to you by God. They will always have the best interest at heart most of the time.”
No guarantee Zwane will play!
In his bid to rebuild Kaizer Chiefs, Nabi will not give many chances to players who are not delivering as expected.

Zwane has been warned he might struggle for playing time if he does not give his best in the training ground.
“Avoid distractions, focus on the sport—it’s your career, it’s your job, you have chosen it—and work as hard as possible’,” Zwane senior continued.
“Last week, I was just saying to him, ‘Look how competitive it has become; there is no guarantee that you’re going in there’. Nabi will do that deliberately because he wants to enforce a culture of competitiveness. Nobody is going to be guaranteed a place. He has a coach that seems to like him which is a plus, but it is not going to come for free.”
