Deuxième meilleur buteur du championnat belge (10 buts) et en fin de contrat dans six mois avec Saint-Trond, l’attaquant de 26 ans était annoncé dans le viseur de nombreux clubs cet hiver (Nantes, Bordeaux, Besiktas, Anderlecht, Bruges, Standard de Liège, Brighton,…). Mais l’international ivoirien a finalement décidé de partir au Qatar où il va s’engager en faveur d’Al Rayyan.
Le neveu de Basile Boli signera officiellement son contrat après avoir satisfait la traditionnelle visite médicale ce vendredi. La transaction est estimée à 3 millions d’euros. Pour rappel, Bordeaux a finalement recruté Rémi Oudin et Nantes a jeté son dévolu sur Renaud Emond.
