Ce lundi, la FIFA et la FIFPro, le syndicat mondial des joueurs, ont dévoilé leur liste de 55 joueurs en lice pour composer le onze de l’année. Et après s’être tristement distinguée en ne retenant aucun joueur africain en 2017, l’instance a cette fois coché les noms des deux feux follets de Liverpool, l’inévitable Egyptien Mohamed Salah mais aussi son compère sénégalais Sadio Mané.
25 000 joueurs professionnels répartis à travers 65 pays ont pris part à ce vote. Le onze final sera dévoilé lundi 24 septembre à l’occasion de la cérémonie le Best FIFA Football Awards organisée à Londres.
